Responsibilities: Responsible for all vessel manning. Phone screen candidates as needed and/or interview as dictated by business needs. Verifies proper documentation for all crewmembers according to positions and communicates requirements to required parties. Coordinating the pre-employment paperwork process for new employees. Responsible for the accurate maintenance of all current job postings, job descriptions and processing of new hire paperwork. Responsible for the timely coordination of articles and publishing of content for the HR database. Participates in the maintenance of the HR recruiting database
Requirements: The maritime industry is a fast paced environment which requires the ability to think quickly on one’s feet and strong follow up and organizational skills. 3-5 years of recruiting experience hiring. Experience hiring maritime positions preferred (or a plus). Experience proactively sourcing candidates. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is a must. Good negotiating skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Flexibility to meet changing business requirements. Must take initiative to seek improvement opportunities to better department and company. BA/BS degree or equivalent in related field. Singapore citizen or permanent resident preferred.
