Requirements : Diploma or degree in optometry. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to speak Mandarin. Acceptable grooming standards. Must like children as half the patients are children
Job description: Includes objectives and subjective refraction, fundus & eye photography, optical coherence tomography, visual field assessment, biometry, tonometry, fitting of contact lenses, Fresnel prisms etc. Involving in all the activities needed in the care of eye patients. Perform all the duties of an optometrist as well as those of a clinic assistant. About 50% of the work is optometry and 50% clinical work.
